13.9.11 Amazing Race: Using fancy footwork and local buses, teenagers from the MRCC Youth Centre School Holiday Program will set out on an Amazing Race style adventure in teams of four students and one adult observer. Strategy, logistics and teamwork are the keys to this fast paced competition as each team races to reach various locations at historic, leisure and cultural attractions.Using maps and bus timetables, teams attempt to reach as many locations by public transport as possible and make it back to headquarters before time runs out. 15.8.11 VIPTAS Update: The Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme (VPTAS) subsidises the travel and accommodation costs incurred by rural Victorians and if appropriate, their escorts, who have no option but to travel a long distance to receive approved medical specialist services.
